After
the undeniable success
of Xian Lim and Kim Chiu tandem in the defunct ABS-CBN series "My Binondo Girl, the two is set to reunite again
in upcoming Kapamilya primetime soap "Ina, Kapatid, Anak."
Aside from the phenomenal tandem of Kim and
Xian, the experimental tandem of Enchong Dee and Maja Salvador
and Rayver Cruz will join them in this drama series to be directed by
Don Cuaresma and Jojo Saguin.
Ina, Kapatid, Anak is loosely based on the 1979 film of the same name
under Regal Films. The drama centers around sister rivalry and love and promises
to bring out the most memorable lines like that of Iisa Pa
Lamang and Magkaribal. Early reports stated that the drama is inspired by
The CW's Gossip Girl concept.
It is said that this teleserye first offered to Andi, Jessy and Jacklyn Jose. Together with
Joseph Marco and Martin Del Rosario. But Andi and Jessy were replaced by Kim and Maja. Xian Lim and Rayver Cruz replaced Joseph Marco and Martin del Rosario. Enchong Dee retain the cast.
Afterthe well-praised performance in Budoy, Ms. Janice De Belen will
again show her acting skills in this teleserye probably replacing Ms. Jacklyn Jose.
