There is another welcome distraction for viewers of the impeachment trial of
Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona.
Actress Ciara Anna Sotto, daughter of Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, has
been added to the list of the “Corona trial head turners” as she accompanied
her father at the Senate on Friday.
Ciara now joins the ranks of Atty. Karen Jimeno, one of the spokespersons of
the defense panel; Ria Christina Fariñas, daughter and chief of staff of Ilocos
Norte 1st District Rep. Rudy Fariñas; Atty. Richie Ramos-Pilares, who served as
the legal counsel of PS Bank Katipunan branch manager Annabelle Tiongson; and
Atty. Macel Jimenez, who just happened to be seated behind one of the podiums
used by senator-judges while addressing the court.
