People's Champ Manny Pacquiao ranks 4th among Top 10 America's Most Influential Athletes of 2012 of Forbes Magazine.

Here is Forbes magazine’s Top 10 Most Influential Athletes for 2012:

Jimmie Johnson
1. Nascar’s Jimmie Johnson

Four time driver of the year carries a "guy next door" persona that fans can relate to.

Tim Tebow
2. NFL’s Tim Tebow

"Tebowmania" unleashed -- the QB shot up eight spots from last year after taking
over as a starter in Denver. Now the question is how much he plays in New York.

Peyton Manning
3. NFL’s Peyton Manning

Out of action in 2011, but few have built more brand equity over the years. All eyes return to Manning this fall to catch his career second act in Denver.

Manny Pacquiao
4. Filipino Boxing Superstar Manny Pacquiao

Likeable boxing champ is a king among the Philippine population. The contrast with "bad guy" Floyd Mayweather doesn't hurt.

Tom Brady
5. NFL’s Tom Brady

Like Peyton Manning, a steady presence on the list.

Aaron Rodgers
6. NFL’s Aaron Rodgers

"Championship Belt" gesture after TD passes adds a touch of cockiness. Fans seem to like the mix.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.
7. Nascar’s Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Some marketers consider Earnhardt overexposed, but the personable driver has been voted most popular by Nascar fans for nine straight years.

Drew Brees
8. NFL’s Drew Brees

Saints QB is a gamer - his star continues to rise even as his team faces scandal.

Eli Manning
9. NFL’s Eli Manning

A second Super Bowl title has Eli catching up to big brother Peyton. He's prepping for his first "Saturday Night Live" hosting gig.

Jeremy Lin
10. NBA’s Jeremy Lin

A knee injury to the Knicks guard has Linsanity down, but not out.

The list is based on a survey made by Nielsen and E-Poll, which surveyed over 1,100 adults about pro athletes who are currently active and who score at least 20% “awareness” with the general public.
