Jessica Sanchez: American Idol Season 11 Top 5

A 16-year old Filipino-Mexican American Singer Jessica Sanchez made her way to top 5 of American Idol Season 11.

     Jessica Sanchez survived this week's elimination of American Idol (AI) Season 11.

Sanchez is now in AI's Top 5 and will be part of the show's Disney tour.

     Other finalists include Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips, Skylar Laine and Hollie Cavanagh.

   Sanchez earned restrained praise for singing the Queen song “Bohemian Rhapsody” but bounced back with a stunning performance of Luther Vandross' “Dance With My Father”.

After Elise Testone's elimination last night, the official American Idol Top 5 and still in the running to become this season's American Idol champ are:

 A 20-year old  American singer from Westlake, Louisiana born on April 9, 1992.

3. Skylar Laine 

 American singer from Brandon, Mississippi born on  February 1, 1994

4. Phillip Phillips 

 Born on September 20, 1990 is an American singer from Leesburg, Georgia

5. Hollie Cavanagh

A British-born American originally from Liverpool, Merseyside, England, living in McKinney, Texas born July 5, 1993.
