PAGASA Update - Bagyong Gener (July 30)

PAGASA update the public today, at 1:00 a.m., the center of Typhoon Gener was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 340 km East Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan (18.8°N, 125.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph and is moving North Northwest at 11 kph.

Tropical Storm "Gener" is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon that will bring rains over Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao especially the western section.
