Floyd Mayweather Jr. Begins His 87-Day Jail Today
American Boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. was accused of a hair-pulling, arm-twisting attack in September 2010 on the mother of three of his children.
On December 22, the 35-year-old five-division boxing champion was sentenced by Las Vegas judge of a three-month jail sentence in the high-rise Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas after he pleaded guilty to reduced charges in the domestic battery case. His 87-day jail begins today, June 1, 2012.
Mayweather was also ordered by court to complete a yearlong domestic violence counseling program, 100 hours of community service and pay a $2,500 fine.
