Many
citizens especially the workers are confused if the Labor Day will be
moved to April 30, 2012 since it falls to Tuesday.

In the administration
of former president, Arroyo, a lot of regular and special non-working holidays
were moved to either Monday or Friday in observance of Holiday Economics
Law. But with the new administration, we haven't observed this relief yet.
Based
on the list of Philippines' official public holidays
this year, April 30, 2012 is a normal working as outlined in Proclamation No.
295 and the Labor Day should be celebrate on its exact date, which is on May 1, 2012.
